M.K. College of Education promises to provide the best of education to the would-be teachers of our country. It stands on the very foundation of hard work, dedication, and sincerity. As school is a miniature society, the teacher acts omnipotent. The teacher is the reformer of society. For this, we are in dire need of great teachers, but drawing the best teacher out of society is a challenge in itself. It is true that teachers are born and not made, but they have to be molded & given a desired shape. The teacher education institutions can only cherish the need of born teachers. In the light of these challenges, M.K. College of Education, under CT Group of Institutions, is marching towards the achievement of this pious mission. M.K. College of Education was established in 2005 by Mr. Charanjit Singh Channi, an enthusiastic, energetic embodiment of goodness, in the fond memory of his esteemed mother, Late Smt. Manjit Kaur. Situated in the sprawling campus of CT Institutions, Shahpur College is 2 km away from Lambra and 8 km away from Jalandhar Bus Stand. The college wants to uplift the standard of education because only education can bring the concept of mankind in a country that is in dire need today. Teaching institutions throughout the country are facing the problem of indiscipline and non-loyalty towards the profession. So, to make the teachers disciplined and inculcate self-confidence in them are the chief motives of this college.
