PROGRAMME DETAILS
Duration : 2 yrs. (Annual System) The Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.), formerly known as ETT, is a two-year professional teacher training program regulated by SCERT Punjab. It prepares aspiring teachers to effectively educate children at the primary and upper primary levels (Classes I–VIII). The D.El.Ed. course aligns with NCTE norms and aims to develop reflective, skilled, and compassionate educators for 21st-century classrooms.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Pass with 50% aggregate marks in Bachelor’s Degree
AND
Must have studied Punjabi and Hindi language at the Matric (Class 10) level
AND
Upper age limit for general category is 37 years
There will be relaxation of 5% marks for SC/ST categories
There will be relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST categories
There will be relaxation of 10 years for Physically Handicapped categories
The reservation will be applicable as per Punjab Govt. Policy
